We are currently recruiting for a Business / Sales Development Manager for a Waste Management / Recycling / client in Cambridgeshire
This is an excellent opportunity to join a profitable independent business that is looking to appoint a dynamic Manager with excellent business acumen and commercial experience gained ideally within a waste management, recycling or environmental construction business.
Key Duties:
The business already employs an Operational Manager who is responsible for the onsite and offsite operations of the waste management and recycling business and general running of the company. You will work alongside the Operational Manager and be responsible for growing the turnover and increasing the profitability of the business. There is excellent opportunity for future growth and your key focus will be increasing the recycling side of the business and maximising profit opportunities.
You must be capable of driving the business forward and come up with business development ideas, increasing sales and marketing the business. You will report directly to the MD of the business on targets and for requests for budgets.
Key responsibilities:
- Client account management / B2B sales development
- Increasing business turnover and profitability
- Promoting a recycling development plan
- Marketing the business
- Business strategy, revenue opportunities and cost reduction ideas
- Sales performance and ongoing pricing review
This is an excellent opportunity with a privately owned business, for a candidate looking for a real business opportunity within the recycling and waste management / environmental sector. The salary on offer is up to £30k plus performance related bonus to increase your earnings. Based on future performance and targets the client is prepared to consider a future equity share in return for growth in the company.
Locally based candidates will be given priority but candidates from further afield who are serious about relocation and have relevant experience would be considered.
