Profile Synopsis

We are representing a competent and professional Estates Surveyor with over 5 years’ experience in both Property and Estate management for consultancy and client side companies, managing complex estates consisting of residential, leisure, retail, industrial and office commercial property developments.

Key Experience

  • Estate Management (Residential, Leisure, Retail, Industrial and Office Commercial inc high-End Multi-occupied commercial assets),
  • Landlord and Tenant,
  • Negotiating heads of terms for leases and Licence agreements,
  • Lease renewals,
  • Rent reviews,
  • Experienced using Qube property software,

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Part Qualified NEBOSH General Certificate – Health & Safety Qualification
  • BSc. (Hons). Business Property Management (RICS Accredited Degree)

COMPETENCIES:

  • Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since July 1998, last sat APC in March 2004 under general practice route. Currently working towards full MRICS status under the Commercial Property Practice Graduate 2 / Professional Route.
  • Associate Member of British Institute of Facilities Management (ABIFM).
  • Recent experience in Landlord and Tenant 1954 and 1996 Acts and Service Charge Code of Practice.
  • Managed high-end multi-occupied commercial assets valued over £25m to £75m covering floor area range of 70,000 to 335,000 square feet.
  • Awareness of assessing risk and implementing control measures in Health & Safety in property.
  • Conversant in the use of Microsoft Packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in office work. Also using TBS/Bluebox Tramps, Qube/ECS, Java and Manhattan in Property Management Account and property investment computer packages.
  • Experience in reporting to the Board of Directors presenting business cases for capital expenditures and corporate governance requirements.
  • Advised customers in financial difficulties where to obtain help and arranged payment plans.
  • Have supervised cleaners, security officers, being a line manager to Building Managers, Building Surveyors, Estate Agents, Facilities Managers, Centre Managers & managed SLA contracts with Project Managers & Contract Managers.
